My family and I have been motorcycle enthusiasts for approximately 20 years. When I met my wife Yuki, she was riding a 1999 Honda Shadow VLX 600 in the tight streets of Okinawa, Japan. She always had the biggest smile on her face when she rode her Honda.
I grew up as a baby in diapers riding with my dad on his old Harleys to motorcycle rallies and biker bars. I soon got my own motorcycle and have never looked back. I've had several motorcycles after that first one that i really enjoyed.
My dad talked me into getting a used BMW R1200 GS Adventure. After my ride home from the dealership, I knew that this was THE bike. I have never felt the same on any other motorcycle as I have on my GS.
Once I started looking into parts for my BMW, I soon realized why it's in a league of its own. Parts are extremely expensive for what you get. I shortly after got into additive manufacturing, or 3D printing. I realized that this was a cost-effective way to make parts for my own motorcycle.
So I figured, why not offer these cost-effective and customizable parts to other BMW GS riders. We can all use the little savings we can get. So Yuki and I started 3D Print Lab Florida, our own little home-grown way to show love to the BMW GS community and to our own machines.
If you ride a BMW GS, you know that the quality of parts is something that cannot be overlooked. I take this very seriously and have done the research to provide high-quality, better-than-OEM parts for BMW GS motorcycles.
